STATESBORO – Isaiah Crawley collected 16 points and nine rebounds, and Georgia Southern forced 22 turnovers and held Troy to 28 percent shooting in a 76-51 Sun Belt men's basketball win over the Trojans Friday night.

Crawley made 6 of 9 from the field, while Tookie Brown notched 16 points and a career-high five steals to go along with four assists. David-Lee Jones Jr. chipped in 11 points, and Montae Glenn tallied eight points, 10 rebounds and four blocked shots.

After leading by five points at halftime, the Eagles (16-10, 8-5) exploded out of the locker room with a 27-4 run over the first 9:58 of the second frame. Georgia Southern held Troy (11-14, 4-9) to 2 for 15 from the field and forced nine Trojan turnovers during the run.

Georgia Southern held the Trojans, who were without Sun Belt Player of the Year candidate Jordon Varnado, to 26 percent shooting in the first half, and the Eagles tallied 16 steals, their most against a Division I opponent this season.
