
Kramer, Odlin Begin Road to Tokyo

Winter Air Gun first step in qualification
STATESBORO - Former Georgia Southern student-athletes Rosemary Kramer and Lydia Odlin will begin their road to Tokyo for the 2020 Olympics as qualification for the Games begins this weekend. The two will compete in the Winter Air Gun this weekend in Colorado Springs in Part 1 of the Air Rifle Olympic Trials.
Olympic hopefuls will step to the line on Saturday and Sunday in the qualification and then finals both days. The second part of the Trials takes place in March at Fort Benning, Georgia.
The top two individuals after the four rounds will represent the United States at the Tokyo Olympics this summer.

Kramer was an NRA First-Team All-American who finished third at the 2019 NCAA Championships and has been training with the US Developmental Team at the USA Olympic Center in Colorado. Odlin just wrapped up her collegiate career and leaves Georgia Southern as the No. 3-ranked air rifle shooter in program history.
