Arkansas State comes to town for big tilt
After a bye week, the Georgia Southern football squad returns home to take on Arkansas State in both team's Sun Belt Conference opener. The Eagles will take on perennial SBC power A-State at 6 p.m. on Saturday at Allen E. Paulson Stadium. The game will be broadcast online through ESPN+ and will be available via radio on the Georgia Southern Sports Network. Here's all you need to know about the game:

Military Appreciation Day
Saturday's game will mark the annual Military Appreciation Game for the Eagles as all branches of the military will be honored. The Eagles will wear a special sticker on the back of their helmets and several special presentations and recognitions are planned. Additionally, the prestigious Army Tenors will sing the National Anthem with the Southern Pride Marching Band performing with them.
