
Rain Cancels Tennis This Weekend

Both men's and women's tennis cancelled due to rain in the area
STATESBORO, Ga. – With the treat of heavy rain headed to the South Georgia and Florida regions, the men's and women's tennis programs have canceled their matches for this weekend. Both teams will look to reschedule the matches, but no official date has been announced.
The men's tennis program was headed to Clemson, South Carolina to compete in their first doubleheader of the season. The Eagles were playing ACC foe Clemson on Sunday morning and SOCON opponent The Citadel Sunday afternoon. They will be back in action next Friday as they take on Florida Atlantic University and Bethune-Cookman in what will now be the first doubleheader of the season.
The women's tennis program was scheduled to host their first home match of the season against Florida Gulf Coast. The Eagles will stay relatively close next Tuesday, competing against Savannah State in Savannah, Georgia.
