The Eagles face UNC Asheville on Friday at 2 p.m.
STATESBORO, Ga.- The Georgia Southern men's tennis team competes in their second dual match of the week on the road on Friday against UNC Asheville at 2 p.m.
"We are expecting a good UNC Asheville team. They've had some good wins this season," head coach Sander Koning said. "I believe if we come out with the same energy and ability of taking care of the fundamentals as the last match, we will put ourselves in a good position to win."
The Eagles soared to a 4-2 win over Kennesaw State behind solid performances by Ze Moya and JC Alcala who won in both singles and doubles. Moya also saw his first match clinch of his collegiate career on Wednesday when he came through in the third set at line three.
The Bulldogs, on the other hand, are coming off of a 3-4 loss to Presbyterian which evened up their season to five wins and five losses. Georgia Southern has fallen short five times this season as well but carries twice as many wins going into Friday's match.
