The Eagles face Coastal Carolina and North Carolina Central in Conway, S.C.
STATESBORO, Ga.- After closing out a two-win weekend in Florida, the Georgia Southern men's tennis team travels to Conway, South Carolina to take on Coastal Carolina and North Carolina Central. The two matches will both be hosted by the Chanticleers who have only been on the road one weekend and have an ongoing homestretch until March 22, interrupted by one match at Duke in February.
While Coastal is 3-0 at home, the 4-2 Eagles look to disrupt their perfect on-campus record on Sunday at noon after they go head-to-head with the NCCU Eagles on Saturday at 1 p.m.
Over the weekend, the Blue and White built a good foundation for moving forward, establishing themselves as competitors in the singles and doubles realm. Sophomore Eddie Landin was able to clinch the match point in both singles and doubles against FAU. Landin and his doubles partner Nico de Groof were also able to take down Stetson's No.2 duo. In singles, JC Alcala and Andre Johnson went 2-0, while senior Rise Lanne kept his five-match winning record going having yet to lose in singles this spring.
