Revised Schedule for Weekend Softball Series at App State

Teams to play Friday doubleheader due to possible precipitation

STATESBORO, GA. – Georgia Southern Softball will face Appalachian State this weekend with a revised schedule set for the three-game set. Possible afternoon rains in Boone have forced the change to give the teams the best chance to get all three games in.

Friday's single game, which was previously scheduled for 4 p.m., has been changed to a 1 p.m. doubleheader in the High Country. The series closes on Saturday with a 1:30 p.m. game between the Eagles and Mountaineers.
