STATESBORO, Ga. – The Georgia Southern cheer team won its fifth national championship and second in a row in the Intermediate All-Girl Division at the National Cheerleaders Association National Championship last week.
The Eagle cheer team led both days en route to its second consecutive national. The Eagles were led by captains Chloe Cotter and Emily Harwood and seniors Ashlee Newsome, Kate Dixon and Katherine Daniel.
