Six travel to Winston-Salem, North Carolina this weekend
STATESBORO, Ga. – Six from the Georgia Southern men's tennis team are competing in the Wake Forest Invite, which takes place in Winston-Salem, North Carolina from Nov. 6-8. Heading to the tournament this weekend are upperclassmen Rise Lanne, Christian Kerrigan and Nico de Groof who are joined by sophomore Eddie Landin and freshmen Andre Johnson and Marvin Spiering.

Eddie Landin (GS) takes on Jordan Hart (Davidson) for the first round of the B1 Singles Bracket
Andre Johnson (GS) goes up against Alan Poric (Wofford) in the C1 Flight
Marvin Spiering (GS) competes against Aires Wong (Navy) in the C2 Bracket
Nico de Groof (GS) faces Louis Monterosso (Campbell) in the D1 Flight
Chris Kerrigan (GS) competes against Will Bissett (ECU) in the D2 Singles Bracket

LAST TIME OUT
Two weeks ago, a combined five Eagles made it to the semi-finals in their respective doubles and singles brackets in the Georgia Southern Championships and the Wolfpack Invite, hosted by NC State.
Landin made it to the finals at NC State but couldn't clinch the title. Out of the players heading to North Carolina this weekend, de Groof made it to the semi's in the doubles tournament at home (with doubles partner Adam Brown) and Spiering played in the semi-finals on Eagle soil in the singles draw.
The Lanne and Kerrigan tag team had their own success at the Wolfpack Invite as well, winning their consolation doubles draw.
