Women's Soccer's Season Clipped by Troy during 3-0 Loss

The Eagles lose to the No. 2 Trojans in the Sun Belt Conference
ATLANTA- The Georgia Southern women's soccer team fell to Troy 3-0 in the first round of the Sun Belt Tournament on Wednesday evening to close out their 2015 season. Despite the one-sided score, the Eagles had plenty of chances but couldn't seem to find the back of the net. The Trojans led in shots on goal 6-3 and each goaltender (Egan, Lewis) notched three saves apiece. Georgia Southern upped their offensive drive in the second half, tallying four shots compared to a lone shot in the first half; however it was only Troy who was able to score—two of which came in the last 14 minutes of play.
