Eagles travel to face the winless Howard Bison
STATESBORO, GA. – Following a midweek home game, Georgia Southern Men's Soccer travels to face Howard University in a Sun Belt Conference match. The Eagles are looking for their first league win after falling at Hartwick last weekend while Howard enters the match at 0-12-2 on the year. Last year the Bison stunned the Eagles with two second half goals to defeat Georgia Southern in Statesboro, 2-1.

Georgia Southern got things going in the right direction on Tuesday with a 5-0 thrashing of Jacksonville University at the friendly confines. The big night for the offense improved the Eagles to 3-5-1 on the year while Emmanuel Raji scored a goal to raise his team-high scoring mark to four goals this year.
SCOUTING THE BISON
Howard has been outscored 47-12 this season and dropped its Sun Belt opener in Boone to Appalachian State, 2-0 last weekend. The draws for the Bison came against James Madison and LIU Brooklyn. Xavier Rajpaul and Kyle Celestine are the leading scorers for Howard with three goals each.

Howard wrecked Senior Day for the Eagles last season, dealing a 2-1 loss to Georgia Southern and spoiling any chance of an undefeated run through the Sun Belt. Eric Dinka put the Eagles up just after halftime, but a pair of second half goals from the Bison gave the visitors all three points and their only Sun Belt win of the year.
