Third Eagles’ Football Game Selected for National Broadcast

Kickoff for Georgia Southern at Navy set for 3:30 p.m.

The Eagles will play the season's first weekday game between two Sun Belt Conference opponents on ESPNU Thursday, September 25th, at home at Paulson Stadium. Georgia Southern plays host to rival Appalachian State for the first Thursday game at home since the 1989 Hugo Bowl. Georgia Southern's second nationally televised game is set for Thursday, October 30th vs. Troy, also at Paulson. Kickoff times for both Thursday games will be announced at a later date.
Georgia Southern's three televised games will be available in nearly 250 million homes nationwide on ESPNU and CBS Sports Network, delivered via cable, satellite and video provider systems. Additional broadcast information and channels will be provided closer to the individual gamedays.

Season tickets for the Eagles' first campaign in the FBS go on sale online at GSEagles.com/tickets at 12:01 a.m. May 1st. The Athletics Ticket Office will begin taking calls for new season ticket purchases at 1-800-GSU-WINS beginning at 8:30 a.m. that day. Tickets may also be purchased at all Coaches' Caravan events.
