DUBLIN, Ga. – Twenty-four 3-man teams competed in the Georgia Southern Golf Dublin Fundraiser March 8, and all proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Eagle golf program.
"It was a great day of golf at the Dublin Country Club," said Georgia Southern Director of Golf Larry Mays. "Thanks to Mike Cummings for spearheading the effort and to our sponsors - Morris Bank, Evans Disposal and Bass Physical Therapy and Rehab Center."
The Eagles will host their home tournament, The Schenkel Invitational, at Forest Heights Country Club this weekend. The three-day tournament begins Friday with 15 programs, including four in college golf's top-20, set to compete.
Georgia Southern Athletics provides up-to-date information on all its sports through its official website, GSEagles.com, through social media channels facebook.com/GSAthletics and twitter.com/GSAthletics, and its "Eagles GATA" mobile app for Android and iOS.
