Eagles Post Season Best in Second Day of Citadel Invitational

STATESBORO, Ga. - Kathryn Youngblood tied an individual season high with a score of 568 and helped the Georgia Southern women's rifle team to a season-best score of 2240 in day two of action at The Citadel Invitational in Charleston, S.C.

Youngblood, who had shot over 560 three times before today, tied Tori Lewis and Becky Collier for the individual season high with a score of 568. Collier was second on the team with a mark of 563 and improved on her mark from Saturday by 11 points.

Emmy Johnson added a score of 555, and Lewis posted a mark of 554. Ali Shortridge and Abigal Raines also competed on the day. Shortridge shot a 534 and Raines a 537.

The Eagles return to action on Feb. 15 at North Georgia.
