Rifle Successful in Return to Action at Citadel Invitational

STATESBORO, Ga. - The Georgia Southern women's rifle team shot an air rifle score of 2205 at The Citadel Invitational in Charleston, S.C. Saturday.
The two-day meet, which continues tomorrow, was the first competition for the Eagles since Nov. 9 at North Georgia.
The Eagles posted their third best score of the season behind three scores of 550 or better.
Kathryn Youngblood led the team with a score of 554. Youngblood has now shot a 550 or better in five of her six matches this season.
Emmy Johnson and Becky Collier both tallied their second-highest scores of the season and both shot a 552. Tori Lewis was the final Eagle counter and shot a 547. Ale Shortridge also competed on the day and posted a mark of 527.
The Eagles return to action at The Citadel Invitational tomorrow morning.
