STATESBORO, Ga.- Georgia Southern women's soccer is set to host the 2014 Winter ID Camp this Saturday, January 25th, at Eagle Field. The Winter ID Camp is a one-day camp for players who are in or are entering high school this fall, as well as junior college student-athletes. The ID Camp offers a competitive atmosphere with imitated college training sessions and the opportunity for the athletes to experience the GSU campus.
Players will get to experience the same training sessions that the 2012 Southern Conference Champions go through, and small and big sided games will offer a healthy balance of both instruction and evaluation. Goalkeepers will have specialized training sessions to work on technique, and rejoin the rest of the players for matches in the evening. This camp is designed to benefit teams and individuals.
The 2014 Women's Soccer Camps are open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender).
For more information and registration, please contact assistant coach Kelly Farrell (kfarrell@georgiasouthern.edu). Click here to view registration documents as well as a schedule of events for the camp (http://www.gsusocceracademy.com/).
