Georgia Southern Ranked 14th in Latest Sports Network Poll

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The top seven spots remained the same this week as North Dakota State stayed at number one in the weekly Sports Network poll with 154 first-place votes. Eastern Washington held off Montana State by a two-point margin to keep the number-two spot. Georgia Southern moved to 14^th in the September 16^th edition of the rankings.

In its first year transitioning to FBS, the Eagles will be considered for weekly rankings and honors from the Sports Network, but are not eligible to be ranked in the weekly national coaches poll.

The Eagles have a bye week before welcoming Chattanooga for the final game of the month on Saturday, September 28^th. Kickoff is at 6 p.m. and advance tickets may be purchased with 24/7 convenience at GSEagles.com, by phone by calling 1-800-GSU-WINS and in person at the Cowart Athletics Ticket Office at 203 Lanier Drive in Statesboro. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
