Student tailgate set for volleyball home opener, season tickets now on sale

Season tickets for the Eagles' 15-match slate are $20
STATESBORO, Ga. – Georgia Southern athletics will sponsor a Student Tailgate before the Eagle volleyball match against Georgia Sept. 10.
The tailgate will begin at 4 p.m. in the parking lot in front of Hanner Fieldhouse, and the volleyball match against the Bulldogs starts at 6 p.m. The tailgate will also serve as the first opportunity for students to pick up tickets for the Georgia Southern football game at Florida Nov. 23.
In addition, season volleyball tickets for the Eagles' 15-match home slate in Hanner Fieldhouse are now available for $20. That schedule includes the match against Georgia and two home tournaments, the SpringHill Suites Invitational Sept 13-14, and the Bash in the Boro Sept. 20-21. The Eagles return three starters and nine letterwinners from last season's 25-7 squad that went 15-1 in the Southern Conference and won the South Division regular-season championship. Georgia Southern was picked second in this year's SoCon Preseason Coaches' Poll.
