Eagle Fans can purchase 50/50 Raffle tickets starting Monday Aug. 26, at the DAY SIX event at Paulson Stadium. All DAY SIX and weekly sales will go towards the jackpot for the Eagle football game against Savannah State on Aug. 31.
Fans can purchase raffle tickets from GSUAF raffle ticket sellers Monday through Friday from 9a.m.-4 p.m. at the Russell Union, The University Store and the Cowart Building Ticket Office on Lanier Drive at Paulson Stadium. On Game Days, raffle ticket sales will begin three hours before kickoff until the end of the third quarter for all home football games. The GSUAF 50/50 Raffle is electronically powered by Pointstreak 50/50. Every transaction is electronically tallied, and the ongoing total jackpot will be displayed and updated in real time at the 50/50 stations during each sporting event, allowing fans to watch the jackpot as it grows. Winners will be announced towards the end of each game. Each winner will be given (15) days to claim the prize money.
For football, prize claims may be made at the Paulson Stadium ticket booth located at Gate 4 or by calling the Athletic Foundation during regular business hours at (912) 478-5520. Fans can check the real-time jackpot online during the event as well as enter into the second chance drawing for an $1,000 gift card to the University Store at www.ps5050.com/gsueagles.
The 50/50 Raffle has been adopted by many other colleges and universities, including Central Michigan University and Arizona State University.
