STATESBORO, Ga. - Georgia Southern Athletics is seeking current students to serve as Gridiron Girls for a new hospitality program during the 2013 football season. For more information, contact the Georgia Southern Office of Athletic Marketing at 912-478-1500.
From promoting game days on campus to interacting with fans at the stadium, the main goal of the Gridiron Girls is to promote an enjoyable, safe, gameday atmosphere at Georgia Southern football games.
The Gridiron Girls will be responsible for the delivery of food and beverages to fans in the Bishop luxury seating area, serve as liaisons directing fans to their luxury seats, greeting fans at the gate, and also providing child hospitality in the Eagle Fun Zone. Gridiron Girls will also interact with fans by distributing gameday handouts, giveaways, prizes, and promotional materials. Other Gridiron Girl services include: generating positive gameday attitude, escorting fans by golf cart, and promoting both the Student and Junior Eagle Club's at a designated table.
Each participant has the opportunity to choose which service they prefer to perform. The overall purpose of the Gridiron Girl program is for personnel to create an enjoyable experience for fans.
