Eagle fans contributed images for Georgia Southern commemorative slideshow
STATESBORO, Ga. – Eagle fans responded to the call for their images and sent in "selfies," family photos and memorable moments, with indelible images of Georgia Southern's victory at Florida in the season finale. Many of those photos were featured in a slideshow to commemorate the monumental win at "The Swamp." A $26 gift certificate, in the amount of the total number of points scored by the Eagles, was promised as part of the gathering process.
Director of Athletics Tom Kleinlein drew the name of Atlanta alum Kimberly Hill from the Eagle fans individuals who supplied photos for the slideshow. Hill, who named her photo "Gator RAID," posed next to one of the inflatable amphibians near Ben Hill Griffin Stadium wearing her True Blue T-shirt.

Georgia Southern opens the 2014 season at N.C. State on Saturday, August 30th with the Eagles' home opener set for September 6th vs. Savannah State. The Sun Belt Conference schedule will be released in early spring 2014. Season ticket and away game information will be available in the near future.
