Dear former student-athletes,
The GATA Club, whose motto is "getting athletes together again'', has received positive feedback and a large number of you are already planning on attending. We have heard from many of you on your excitement for returning to Statesboro and for the GATA Club Reunion on Nov. 8-9.
For those of you who have not heard, the GATA Club is an all-sports alumni association. The goal for this program is to keep all of our former student-athletes engaged with their former teammates and to get involved with their respective sport.
In order to make sure everyone can attend this first event, we have extended the deadline for complimentary game tickets for the homecoming football game and the men's basketball home opener to Nov. 6. This is the first year we are holding a reunion, and we want to make sure that no one is excluded. Any former player, coach, manager or athletic trainer can be a part of this program, and we would love to see you at the first ever GATA Club All-Sports Reunion.
