Student Vote Announcement Set for Noon Today

STATESBORO, Ga. - Georgia Southern University’s Student Government Association President Dominique Quarles will announce the result of the student vote to fund three additional fees today at 12 noon at the Russell Student Union Rotunda. The announcement will be carried live at GeorgiaSouthern.TV.
Georgia Southern University students have had the opportunity to vote on three proposed fees that could become effective Fall 2013. Voting for the fees closed at 11:59 p.m. ET last evening.
The student vote is the first step in the process to add the new fees. The next step will be for the University to forward the proposed fees that have been approved by the student body to the University System of Georgia’s Board of Regents for their consideration. The Board of Regents must approve any new student fees.
