Golf Moves Up Standings in Day Two

Ponte Vedra, Fla. - After the second day of the John Hayt Invitational, Georgia Southern moved up the board two spots. The Eagles now sit in 13th place with one day remaining in the tournament. GSU shot a 292 on Monday and is shooting 608 for the tournament, (plus 32). UCF continues to lead the field after day two, shooting 588 for the tournament, plus 12 after heading into the final day.
Freshman Scott Wolfes (St. Simons Island, Ga.) continues to lead the Eagles after the second day. Wolfes is tied for seventh heading into Tuesday's final round after shooting a 69 on Monday and 144 for the tournament. Wolfes is even after day two. Next for the Eagles is Drew Guffey (Bartow, Fla.), who shot a 74 on Monday and is now tied for 48th. Zach Hartman (St. Simons Island, Ga.) shot a 75, and is plus eleven. Hayden Anderson (Knoxville, Tenn.) also shot a 74 and is plus 12. Blake Olson (Pensacola, Fla.) shot a 75 Monday, plus 14, to round out the scoring for the Eagles.
Playing individually, Matthew Mierzejewski (Alpharetta, Ga.) is tied for 59th. Mierzejewski shot a 79 on Monday, and is plus eleven for the tournament.
Play will continue Tuesday morning at 8 a.m. The Eagles will be paired with Furman and Mercer for the last day of the tournament.
