Golf to Hold Walk-On Meeting September 20th

Statesboro, Ga. - Georgia Southern Golf will hold a meeting Tuesday, September 20th for students interested in walking on the team for the upcoming season. The meeting will take place at 7 p.m. in the front lobby of Hanner Fieldhouse. Students who intend to try out should fill out the Athletic Training Waiver and Walk-On Questionnaire and bring both to the meeting.

Attendees must bring a copy of their physical exam (within six months), health insurance and class schedule to ensure they are a full-time student at Georgia Southern University (enrolled in 12 hours or more). Individuals interested must also meet NCAA eligibility standards, agree and comply with GSU Drug Test Policy and bring a $75 entry fee (includes three rounds of golf).
