Fans vote Byrne as Georgia 811 "Lineman of the Week" vs. Furman

STATESBORO, Ga. - Offensive guard Ryan Byrne received 66.7 percent of the vote in last week's fan voting to claim his first Georgia 811 "Lineman of the Week" honor.

The sophomore offensive guard helped the Eagles to 403 total yards of offense in the 32-28 win over Furman. Byrne, from Woodstock, Ga., led the team with 15 knockdowns, a total that ties a previous season high by Brett Moore.
