The clinic is open to all children and adults, both experienced and beginners. Coach Callihan and the team will run different volleyball drills and games from 1-3 p.m. for active participants looking to extend their volleyball technique and knowledge and introduce the game.
The 2009 season volleyball posters and schedule cards will be distributed to all participants at the clinic and the entire Eagle team and coaching staff, following the conclusion of the clinic, will be available to sign autographs.
With the Holiday Inn Invitational kicking off the volleyball season at home August 28, the team will scrimmage in the Blue-White Game following the conclusion of the clinic. The scrimmage is open to all spectators.
“We're excited about hosting our volleyball clinic. This will give the community a chance to come out, learn about the game and play some volleyball. Our goal is to teach more people about our sport and develop both interest and fans,” stated Callihan.
