John Ramfjord joined the Georgia Southern Athletics Department in the Fall of 2007 as an intern and after fulfilling his internship requirement, was promoted to Marketing Assistant in Eagle Sports Marketing in January 2008. Beginning in August 2008, Ramfjord assumed numerous responsibilities in the Athletics Ticket Office. He earned another promotion in January of 2009, to his current role as Assistant Director of Eagle Sports Marketing.
Ramfjord oversees the marketing and promotions for the Georgia Southern Men's and Women's Soccer teams, coordinates the selling of group tickets and tailgate packages for football, basketball and baseball, and monitors the internship program for Eagle Sports Marketing. He is also responsible for the Junior Eagle Club.
Holding two degrees from Georgia Southern University, Ramfjord graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in History (1998) and returned to obtain a Masters in Sport Management, graduating in 2007.
