STATESBORO, Ga. ? Georgia Southern had a good final day of competition at the Niswonger Invitational.
Demtrise Anthony (Manchester, Ga.) picked up Georgia Southern's best finish of the day. She tied for fourth place in the 60 meter dash with a time of 7.89.
Morgan Jefferson (Villa Rica, Ga.) finished 12th in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:27.73.
Georgia Southern finished seventh in the distance medley event with a time of 11:58.05. Relay members include: Laura Fuller (Cartersville, Ga.), London Ryles (Decatur, Ga.), Ashley Bush-Hardy (Fayetteville, Ga.) and Shauntel Jennings (Stone Mountain, Ga.).
Shaunta Hamilton (Macon, Ga.) finished just outside the top 10 in the long jump. She placed 11th with a mark of 5.38 meters.
Georgia Southern finished 8th in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 3:59.72.
Azura Robillard (Altamonte Springs, Fla.) finished 17th in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:28.86.
The Lady Eagles return to indoor action February 13th at the Carolina Classic in Chapel Hill, N.C.
