
Kiwaukee Thomas Signs Contract with Detroit Lions

STATESBORO, Ga. --- Nine-year NFL veteran and former Georgia Southern cornerback Kiwaukee Thomas has signed a contract with the Detroit Lions.
Jacksonville's 2000 fifth round pick spent last season with Buffalo where he appeared in nine games with three starts. Thomas made 36 tackles and picked off his first NFL pass.
Thomas, who played at Georgia Southern from 1996-99, has played in 110 games with 17 starts. He has spent time with Jacksonville, Miami and Buffalo during his pro career.
