Nina Iduate Tabbed SoCon Softball Player of the Month

SPARTANBURG, S.C. ? Georgia Southern's Nina Iduate has been named the Southern Conference Softball Player of the Month for April, the league announced Friday.
The sophomore from Norcross, Ga. (Norcross HS) hit a team-high .490 last month with 11 runs batted in and a .536 on base percentage. She had eight multi-hit performances and two six-game hitting streaks.
Iduate paced the Eagles with 25 hits and batted .385 against league competition. She recorded at least a run, hit or RBI in all 17 games.
Iduate is the second straight GSU player to earn player of the month honors. Junior Robyne Siliga (Oceanside, Calif.) was the named the league's player of the month for March.
