SOPHOMORE (2006-07): Redshirted.
FRESHMAN (2005-06): Saw action in 25 contests... Tallied points in 18 games... Scored two points and tallied one rebound, one block and one assist at Middle Tennessee (11/25)... Netted three points, had one assist and one steal versus Louisville (11/26)... Pulled down a career-high tying seven rebounds at Wofford (1/2), and scored five points with one steal in the win versus the Terriers... Recorded 20 minutes of play at Davidson (1/14), going 2-of-5 from behind the arc, tallying six points, two assists, three blocks and one steal... Went a perfect 4-of-4 from the charity stripe at Appalachian State (1/21)... Went 3-of-7 from the field versus Davidson (2/11), scoring eight points... Netted a career-high 11 points on 5-of-9 from the field versus Western Carolina (2/13)... Tied a career-best seven rebounds at Chattanooga (2/20).
PREP SCHOOL: Attended The Patterson School in Charlotte, N.C. during the 2004-05 academic year... While at Patterson she led the squad to a NACA National championship, going 22-2, while averaging 12 points per outing.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played three seasons at Runnymede CI in Toronto... Served as captain all three years, averaging 19 points during her career... Team combined for 39-2 record her first two seasons... RCI won West Toronto City championship after sophomore campaign and qualified for Ontario Championships the next year... Two-time All-Canada All-Star (2004-05) and was named one of the top 25 players in the Greater Ontario area.
PERSONAL: Born Nya Maclean Daley on May 19, 1986 in Ottawa, Canada to Tim & Jacqueline Daley... Hobbies are listening to music and shopping... Moment in history she wants to see is Steve Nash receiving his first MVP Award... People would be surprised to know that she's Canadian... Craziest ambition is to cook with Paula Deen... The one people she would invite to dinner would be Chris Brown... Favorite pro-sports team is the Phoenix Suns... Favorite ice cream is mango.
