Cheerleader Request Form
• Requests will only be considered if they are received two (2) weeks prior to the scheduled event. Upon receipt, please allow 7-10 business days to receive a written response to your inquiry.
• All appearances must be paid in full to Georgia Southern University no later than three (3) days before the date
of cheerleader performance.
• Appearance fees are subject to change according to the nature of the event.
• Cheerleaders must have an available changing or dressing room. Please have water available.
• Appearances generally vary from one to three hours. Extended times for events such as golf tournaments or
out-of-town appearances will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
• Parking must also be provided.
• 48 hours notice is required for refund if an event/appearance is cancelled.
• Please designate an adult to greet the cheerleaders at the beginning of your event in order to ensure safe and efficient
transportation to the dressing room.
• Cheerleaders reserves the right to walk away from any event that he/she deems unsafe, harmful,
inappropriate or not in accordance with the Georgia Southern image.
• Use of Georgia Southern name, logos, and trademark and/or any advertising that implies the support or sponsorship of Georgia Southern or Georgia Southern athletics must be approved in writing by Georgia Southern University.
• There will be a travel charge of 50.5 cents per mile for any event that is more than a 60 mile round trip. Trips are limited to 150 miles round trip, with the exception of official University sponsored events.
Rates
Official University Function: No Charge*
Student Organization Event: $20/hr/cheerleader
University Department: $20/hr/cheerleader
Non-University Related Event: $20/hr/cheerleader
*These functions are limited to official Athletic, Marketing, Alumni and Admissions events.
