Danny Waugh graduated from Georgia Southern in the Spring of 2016 with a major in journalism and a minor in Marketing. Waugh first worked in broadcast operations in the fall of 2014 as a student, where he operated cameras and began his career as a broadcaster. Waugh was promoted to full-time Communications Specialist in 2018, having previously served in a part-time role since the Fall of 2016. He also continues to broadcast Georgia Southern athletic events, and mentor students interested in broadcasting. Waugh has called games on programs such as ESPN3, ESPN+, WSAV and CBS Sports.
