Elease Ryals serves as the Assistant Director of Football Operations for Georgia Southern Football, where she plays an integral role in the day-to-day administration and organization of the program.
A native of Athens, Georgia, Ryals is a two-time graduate of Georgia Southern University. She earned her bachelor's degree in sport management with a concentration in athletic administration in 2023 before completing a Master of Education in higher education administration in December 2024.
Ryals began her career with Georgia Southern Football in February 2021 as a student assistant, supporting football operations and on-campus recruiting efforts. After graduating, she continued with the program as a graduate assistant for operations and recruiting from August 2023 through December 2024. During that time, she played a significant role in coordinating recruiting activities and assisting with the program's operational needs.
In May 2025, Ryals was promoted to Assistant Director of Football Operations. In her current role, she assists with team travel logistics, serves as a liaison for football parents and families, coordinates student-athlete housing and onboarding for incoming freshmen, facilitates communication with players, and oversees the planning and execution of the program's camps and clinics.
