Anna Chason (AC) Buchanan serves as the Social Media and Brand Strategy Graduate Assistant for Georgia Southern Athletics. She primarily oversees content strategy and social media for Football, Baseball, Women's Soccer, and the Athletics accounts while contributing to the digital presence of all Eagles athletic programs. In addition to her social media responsibilities, Buchanan photographs athletic events throughout the year.
Buchanan is a native of Huntsville, Alabama, and earned her bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from Auburn University, with double minors in marketing and psychology. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Sport Management at Georgia Southern.
While at Auburn, Buchanan interned in the athletics department's communications office with the football and baseball teams. She provided game-day support by assisting with media relations, live statistical reporting, and social media coverage for football and baseball.
