Carly Routman joined the Georgia Southern Athletic Department in July 2021. She serves as a graduate assistant athletic trainer for the Eagle Football team, and assists with cheer as well.

Routman came to Statesboro after graduating from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. During her time there she worked with many collegiate teams including football, lacrosse, volleyball, as well as a local high school.

She is a BOC Certified athletic trainer and holds certification in CPR/AED for health care providers. Routman is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association.
