Sun Belt Conference Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week 2/12/20 

SENIOR (2020): Finished 6-10 in singles play mostly from the one position...The six singles wins moves him to 10th all-time in the GS record books with 58...Went 6-9 in doubles with partner Santiago Suarez primarily from the one spot...The doubles team of McCullough and Suarez defeated No. 9 nationally ranked Franco Aubone/Benjamin Hannestad of Miami on Jan. 19 by a score of 6-3 and achieved a 2020 season high ITA doubles ranking of #47...On Feb. 12, he was named SBC Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week for his performance against Kennesaw State, USC-Upstate and Mercer. 

JUNIOR (2018-19): Finished the season 12-12 in singles play…Had a four-match winning streak in Jan.-Feb. with wins over The Citadel, Morgan State, UCONN and N.C. A&T….Racked up 11 doubles wins with Pascal Wagemaker and Antonio Muniz.

SOPHOMORE (2017-18): Finished the season with a 7-6 record in singles play... Held a three match winning streak during the month of March... Defeated Kennesaw State, The Citadel and USC Sumter during that stretch of three matches... Posted a 7-9 record in doubles play, holding a three match winning streak with partner Pascal Wagemaker... Named to the Sun Belt Conference Academic Honor Roll for the 2017-2018 season... 

FRESHMAN (2016-17): Played in six matches as a freshman for the Eagles… Won three of the four matches that were finished… Defeated his three opponents in straight sets during his victories… Primarily played in the No. 6 position… Was an even 3-3 on the season during doubles play… Primarily at the No. 3 position...  Named to 2016-17 Sun Belt Conference Academic Honor Roll...

PERSONAL: Born April 13th 1998 in Atlanta, Georgia… Son of Heather Thompson and Steve McCullough… Has one sibling, Sister Madison McCullough (21)… Majoring in Business Marketing…
