Before Georgia Southern: Junior transfer from Central Alabama Community College • Named second-team D-1 NJCAA All-America and shot 76-73-68-68=285 in helping the Trojans to the D-1 NJCAA National Championship in 2012-13 • Had nine top-15 finishes in 12 events, including a third-place outing at the Region XXII Championship (70-68-72=210) • First-team All-Metro at Ardrey Kell High School in Charlotte • Placed third in the 2011 and 2012 4A High School State Championships • Set Ardrey Kell record with a 64 in the regional tournament as a sophomore • Posted a 34 nine-hole scoring average as a senior • Lettered four seasons for coach Charlie Mikesell.
Personal: Born Andrew David Klasing June 14, 1994, in Montgomery, Ala. • The son of Drew and Karen Klasing • Has a younger brother, Will, and a younger sister, Carolina • Always marks his ball with an S.U. for uncle Stuart Uselton, who is battling Leukemia.
