Ashley Allenstein

Ashley Allenstein serves as an assistant athletic trainer for the Eagle football team, a position she assumed in 2022.

Allenstein cameĀ from Mercer University where she was an assistant director of sports medicine working primarily with football and beach volleyball, and an adjunct professor for the athletic training program. Prior to her experience at Mercer, she worked as an assistant athletic trainer at Southern Illinois University, and previous to that Waldorf University.

She received her bachelors degrees from the University of Northern IowaĀ in athletic training and sport psychology and then pursued her Master's of Science in athletic training from Texas State University. Allenstein holds certifications for basic life support, oxygen administration, IV, IASTM, cupping, dry needling, as well as being certified to teach CPR, AED, First Aid, and Basic Life support through the American Red Cross. She also served as a campus liaison for Sidelined USA.

Allenstein is an Iowa native and is an active member of the National Athletic Trainers Association, licensed in the state of Georgia.
