Alexis Villarreal joined the Georgia Southern Football staff in July of 2024 as the Director of On-Campus Recruiting and now serves as the Director of Football operations.

In her role with recruiting, she coordinated all official and unofficial visits, oversaw the student recruiting staff, and developed strategic communication plans for the coaching staff

Villarreal came to Statesboro from TCU, where she worked as an assistant on-campus recruiting coordinator for the Horned Frogs’ football program. She also worked as an equipment manager on the offensive side of the ball for TCU football as an undergrad for all four years.

The Fairview, Texas, native is a 2022 graduate of Texas Christian University, where she majored in communication studies with a minor in educational studies.
