HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Columbus High for Coach Philip Marino … An honorable mention all-state selection … Named first-team all-city … Ran for 1,388 yards and 19 total touchdowns as a senior … Averaged 138.8 yards on the ground per game … Had 1,742 all-purpose yards … Left Columbus as the school’s all-time leading rusher with records for most rushing yards in a season and most rushing touchdowns in a game … Also ran track.

PERSONAL: Born Robert Edwards III on April 14 in Columbus, GA … Son of Robert Edwards Jr. and Danielle Edwards … Has three brothers: Tyrese Edwards, Thenadie Simmons and Bobby Story.
