2024-25: Suffered an arm injury during the season and did not see any game action.

2023-24: Played in one game … Got on the field late for three snaps in the win at Ball State.

2022-23: Played in one game … Saw action on four snaps late in the opener against Morgan State. 

2021-22: Was able to redshirt while playing for Boise State … Entered the NCAA Transfer Portal in April and enrolled at Georgia Southern in July.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played for Coach Jason Bornn at Saugus High … The Saugus High School Male Athlete of the Year and Foothill League MVP as a senior in 2021 … Threw for 1,239 and 13 touchdowns against no interceptions in just five games as a senior … Also played baseball.

PERSONAL: Born Colton Lee FitzGerald on April 7 in Valencia, CA … Son of Darren and Misty FitzGerald … Has an older sister, Cassidy.
