Neal Spivey joined the Georgia Southern staff in September 2016 as an assistant manager in the equipment services department. Spivey assists with the football team, coordinating distribution and fitting of equipment and apparel as well as the field set up for daily practices.
Spivey is also the direct equipment manager for GS men's soccer, men's basketball and women's rifle.
He attended Coastal Carolina University where he graduated in August of 2016 with a degree in exercise and sports science. While at CCU, Spivey was a student manager for the football team all five years.
Spivey is from Sylva, North Carolina.
