Brandy Clouse is the Deputy Athletics Director for Internal Affairs, the Senior Woman Administrator (SWA) as well as the Head Athletic Trainer for Georgia Southern Athletics Department. A member of the Executive Staff, she organizes and runs the Athletics Sports Performance Department at GS, overseeing full-time assistants and graduate assistants who work with all 17 of the Eagles' Division I sports programs. She also assists in the formulation, implementation and enforcement of all departmental policies.
In her current role she oversees all aspects of student-athlete medical and mental health care and has sports oversight of women's basketball, softball, as well as swimming & diving. She also oversees drug testing and drug rehabilitation programs for the department, the strength & conditioning, nutrition and sports performance programs and serves as a member of the Mental Performance Team at Georgia Southern. Clouse also coordinates the appointment of care for all mental well-being of student-athletes and serves as the Title IX coordinator for the department.
Prior to her appointment at Georgia Southern in 2003, Clouse served as a graduate assistant at Marshall University, where she worked primarily with women’s soccer, women’s swimming, women’s golf, baseball and football. During her time with the Herd, she obtained her Master's of Science degree in cardiac rehabilitation//general studies.
Clouse earned her Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology/athletic training from Georgia Southern in December, 2000 and was also a member of the women's tennis team. She worked with women's basketball for 11 years and football for eight years.
A native of Conyers, Georgia, Clouse graduated from Heritage High School in 1995. She and Rob Clouse were married in May 2009 and are the parents of two sons, Brayden and Landon, and a daughter, Addison.
