During the 2021 season, Neupert worked with the LSU defensive line as a graduate assistant. There he coached 2022 NFL draftees Neil Farrell Jr. (DT/4th Round) and Andre Anthony (DE/7th Round). The Tigers defense finished the year tied 24th in the nation with 38 total sacks and tied for 12th in the nation with 98 total tackles for loss to lead them to bowl eligibility.

Neupert joined the Majors after spending one season at Nicholls State. While at Nicholls, he aided the defensive staff with film breakdown and assisted with coaching the defensive backfield unit that led the Southland Conference in interceptions.
Before arriving at Nicholls, Neupert coached the offensive line at his alma mater, Archbishop Rummel High School in Louisiana in 2015. He helped lead the Raiders to a phenomenal 11-2 season where they were New Orleans Catholic League champions, Louisiana state champion runners-up, and they were nationally ranked in the top 25 by both USA Today and Max Preps.
