Sophomore (2024-25) - Indoor: Competed in one meet.
Freshman (2023-24) – Indoor: Ran a personal best in the 60m hurdles to finish first at the Dr. Sander Columbia Challenge with a time of 8.78. Outdoor: Competed in three events • Set personal bests in both the 200m and the 100m hurdles during the outdoor season
Prep: Four-year letterwinner at Rickards High School in Tallahassee, Fla., under head coach Terricka Jones • Named 2023 First-Team All Big Bend (Hurdles) by the Tallahassee Democrat • Also named 2023 Second-Team All Big Bend (Hurdles) by the Tallahassee Democrat • Also competed in Girl’s Weightlifting and Competitive Cheerleading in high school • Earned Martin Luther King Jr. Dreamers and Doers honors in high school • Personal Bests: 100m - 12.6 | 200m - 26.02 | 100m Hurdles - 14.25 | Indoor 60m Hurdles - 9.01 | Indoor 60m Dash - 8.20
Personal: Born Makayla Caldwell on April 28, 2005, in Tallahassee, Fla. • Hometown is Quincy, Fla. • The daughter of Cierra Davis and Matthew Allen • Has six siblings; five brothers, Matthew Jr., Mozjuliq, Mateo, Kelvon and Ra’Shun, and one sister, Gabrielle.
