Ben Schram joined the Georgia Southern Athletic Foundation in December of 2022 as the Assistant Athletic Director for Major Gifts and was promoted to associate AD in March of 2025. He comes to Statesboro from Lipscomb University where he served as the Director of the National Bison Club since May 2021. Prior to joining the foundation at Lipscomb, Schram served as External Operations Coordinator with the Lipscomb University Athletic Department starting in October 2020.
While at Lipscomb, Schram worked as a one man shop to lead and organize all fundraising efforts for Lipscomb University Athletics. He played an integral role in establishing key relationships that lead to the growth of Lipscomb University Athletics' donor base and reached new heights in annual support for Bison student-athletes. During his time, Schram spearheaded Lipscomb Athletics Day of Giving 2022 operations which totaled a record 1,421 donors giving $489,298; an increase of 300 donors and $301,732 year-to-year. Additionally, Schram was directly responsible for the execution of all basketball pregame and half-time proceedings and played an active role in the fulfillment of all season-tickets, hospitality credentials, parking passes and additional membership benefits.
Before arriving at Lipscomb, Schram served as Athletics Development Assistant for the Bruin Club at Belmont University. Schram also spent time serving as an intern for both Blazer Boosters at the University of Alabama-Birmingham and the Bulldog Club at Samford University.
A native of Wilmington, North Carolina, Schram received his Bachelor's of Arts degree in sport administration from Samford University in 2019. He earned his Master's of sport administration degree from Belmont University in 2021. Schram is joined in Statesboro by his wife, Breanna, and their dog, Georgie.
