Georgia Southern Armstrong Campus Bus Trips
As part of the consolidation between Georgia Southern University and Armstrong State University, all Armstrong students may now attend for free any Georgia Southern Athletics competition in Statesboro.
Transportation will also be provided from the Armstrong campus to select home competitions. Below are the scheduled events for the 2019-20 academic year where transportation is being provided. Space on the buses is on a first-come, first-served basis and must be filled to at least 50 percent capacity 48 hours before game day or the bus may be canceled. ALL SUBMISSIONS ARE DUE FOUR DAYS BEFORE THE EVENT TAKES PLACE TO BE ELIGIBLE TO RIDE (For example; events on a Saturday must have submissions in by Tuesday). Only current Armstrong and Liberty students who have paid their athletic fees are eligible to ride the buses. Information is below on loading and departure times for each event. For all Olympic sports, the buses depart Science Drive in front of the Memorial College Center (MCC) 75 minutes before the start of the event with load-in 90 minutes before. The buses will load 10 minutes after the game ends and depart 20 minutes after the game ends to return to Savannah. For football, load-in happens 2:15 before and the buses leave 2 hours before game time. Buses will drop off students on the Statesboro campus at the front of the event venue (Eagle Field, Hanner Fieldhouse, etc.) and at the Paulson Stadium Bus Stop for Football games.
UNLESS NOTED, THE DEPARTURE AND DROP-OFF SPOTS ARE FROM THE ARMSTRONG CAMPUS.
You must bring your valid student ID with you. Also, only clear bags are allowed into the arena/stadium.
