Started all 18 matches for the Eagles as a true freshman and showed tremendous endurance, playing 1,639 of a possible 1,650 minutes on the back line for Georgia Southern during his debut season ... Earned Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Week honors on Sept. 19 for helping the Eagles to a pair of wins, over preseason Sun Belt favorite Coastal Carolina and at Winthrop ... Scored his first collegiate goal in the win over Coastal Carolina, just 1:48 into the match, on a free kick header ... Played all 110 minutes in the Eagles' shootout win over Appalachian State in the first round of the Sun Belt Conference tournament on Nov. 10 ... Led the Eagles in minutes played and was one of only three players to start every match in 2017.
